Choose Your Scoring Mode
Choose the mode that fits your game
⚖️ Balanced
One Simple Rule:
You score a point for every other player you out-think.
🔺 Over Wins
The highest bidder out-thinks everyone below the line and scores 1 point per player
Heroic! One player out-thinks everyone else.
🔻 Under Wins
Each Under player out-thinks the high bidder and scores 1 point
Safe and social! The group wins together.
💡 Examples
4 players: Over wins = 2 pts | Under players = 1 pt each (2 total)
6 players: Over wins = 4 pts | Under players = 1 pt each (4 total)
8 players: Over wins = 6 pts | Under players = 1 pt each (6 total)
Perfect symmetry means every question is balanced, regardless of player count! 🎯
🔥 Zero-Sum
Competitive Leaderboard Mode:
Winners gain points from losers — every point won comes from another player!
🔺 Over Wins
The Over player gains +1 point from each Under player
Each Under player loses -1 point to the Over player
High risk, high reward! Winner takes from losers.
🔻 Under Wins
Each Under player gains +1 point
The Over player loses -1 point to each Under player
Safe choice! But you miss the big wins.
🎮 Zero-Sum Features
- Negative scores allowed — you can go below zero!
- No point target — host decides when to end the game
- Join mid-game — players can join anytime (start at 0)
- Leave anytime — players can leave during the game
- Host controls — end game or leave and reassign host
💡 Example with 4 players
Over wins:
• The Over player (highest bidder): +3 points (1 from each Under player)
• 3 Under players: -1 point each (total: -3)
Under wins:
• 3 Under players: +1 point each (total: +3)
• The Over player (highest bidder): -3 points (1 to each Under player)
Net-zero sum: Every point gained is taken from another player! 🎯

- Clear win condition (first to X points)
- No negative scores — keeps it light

- Negative scores add strategic tension
